TAGORE DENTAL COLLEGE AND HOSPITAL
STEM CELL AWARENESS AND DONATION PROGRAM
ROTAG – Rotaract Club of Tagore Dental College and Hospital and Dept. of Oral and Maxillo-Pathology conducted a “STEM CELL AWARENESS AND DONATION PROGRAM”. There were around 170 attendees.
The event was graced by ourbeloved principal Dr.C.J.Venkatakrishnan, ROTAG founder and Vice Principal (Admin) – Dr.P.Sai Krishna and Parent club president Rtn.CH Mukesh along with the secretary, staff and members of Rotary. MC for the event was Rtr. Rakshna.
The meeting started with an introduction to the program by MC, to bring about the insights of the program. Principal Dr.C.J.Venakakrishnan welcomed and addressed the gathering to the program. Our parent club President Rtn. Mukeshaddressed the gathering as well.
The speaker of the day Rtn.KVenkateshwaran spoke about benefits and application of stem cells. He took the talk in a pleasant and thought provoking manner.
This was followed by RotaractSecretary AnnouncementbyRtr. ShreyanNayar.
It was concluded by stem cell donation program which involved blood collection from 106 volunteers which includes students and staffs.
