“SAY YES TO NO TOBACCO”
ROTAG – Rotaract Club of Tagore Dental College and Hospital conducted an anti-tobacco webinar on account of World Cancer Day. There were around 130 attendees. The event was graced by ROTAG founder – Dr. Sai Krishna, parent club president Mr. C H Mukesh and staff and Rotarian members. MC for the event was DeepikaBharathi.
The webinar started with an Introduction of the speaker Dr.Vaishnavi by ROTAG president Rtr. Jananee Bharkavi. Dr. Vaishnavi gave a thought provoking webinar on the topic “SAY YES TO NO TOBACCO”. It created awareness to quit tobacco and no to start if not started. The webinar covered the theme for this year – CLOSE THE CARE GAP.
This was followed by Secretary Announcement by Rotag secretary Rtr. Harris.J. The upcoming projects on Disaster management, Old age visit and dental camps were announced.
The meeting ended with the Vote of thanks by Student Coordinator Dr. Kumara Raja
