Peace Building Awareness Program
ROTAG – Rotaract Club of Tagore Dental college and Hospital conducted a peace building program along with eminent Rotary Delegates following the of Rotary February Month theme– “Peace and Conflict Prevention Month”. There were around 120 attendees. The event was graced by our Vice Principal – Academics Dr.S.Balagopal, ROTAG founder – Dr.P.Sai Krishna, Parent club president Mr. C H Mukesh along with the secretaryand youth service director, staff and members of Rotary. MC for the event was Rtr. Rakshna.
The meeting started with an introduction to the program by MC, to bring about the insights of the program. Vice Principal Dr.S.Balagopal welcomed and addressed the gathering to the program. Our parent club President Rtn. Mukeshaddressed the gathering as well.
The webinar started with an introduction of the speaker of the day Rtn. Usharani Kannan by Rtr. Sridevi. Rtn.Usharani Kannan being a notable speaker on peace building, she took the talk in a pleasant and thought provoking manner. The videos added notes to her talk.
This was followed by Rotaract Secretary Announcementby Rtr. Harris.J. The upcoming projects on Disaster management, Old age visit and dental camps were announced
