TAGORE DENTAL COLLEGE AND HOSPITAL
WORKSHOP ON PRF, PRP & PPP
The departments of Oral and maxillofacial Pathology, Tagore Dental College & Hospital, in collaboration with VHS Hospital, Chennai have jointly conducted WORKSHOP ON PRF, PRP & PPP. The program was held on 17th and 18thAugust 2022, in the auditorium, Tagore Dental College & Hospital. There were 50 participants including post graduate and undergraduate students and staff. There were seven lectures by eminent speakers. The aim was to orient and educate dental professionals about preparation of PRF, PRP & PPP and its application.
The Day – 1 of the workshop was started as planned with the first lecture, on the topic, ‘INTRODUCTION TO PRF, PRP & PPP,’ by Dr. K. Priya, Scientist & Head, VHS Laboratory Services, The Voluntary Health Services Hospital Chennai
The second lecture was, on the topic, ‘THE GOLDEN LIQUID IN DERMATOLOGY,’ Dr. R. Sivayogana, Assistant Professor Department Of Dermatology, Meenakshi Medical College Hospital And Research Institute, Kanchipuram
The third lecture was, on the topic, ‘REGENERATIVE MEDICINE IN ORTHOPAEDICS,’ by Dr. M. Lakshmi Naathan, HEAD - Orthopaedic Department,The Voluntary Health Services Hospital Chennai. It was followed by HANDS-ON HANDS - ON - PRP & PPP for the participants.
The Day – 2 of the workshop was started with the first lecture, on the topic, ‘PRF APPLICATION IN MAXILLOFACIAL SURGERY,’ by Dr. B.LOKESH, PROFESSOR, Department of oral surgery, Tagore Dental College and Hospital
The second lecture was, on the topic, ‘PRF IN PERIODONTAL REGENERATION,’ by DR. B BHUVANESWARI, Professor And Head, Department Of Periodontics, Tagore Dental College And Hospital.
The third lecture was, on the topic, ‘PRF APPLICATION IN ENDODONTICS,’ by Dr. Vandana James, ASST. PROFESSOR, Department Of Conservative Dentistry, Tagore Dental College And Hospital
The fourth lecture was, on the topic, ‘PRF APPLICATION IN PROSTHODONTICS,’ by Dr. NARASIMMAN.M, ASST. PROFESSOR, Department Of Prosthodontics, Tagore Dental College And Hospital. The speakers were honored with a memento and certificate.
