ISP Colloquium 2016 was conducted on September 9 & 10 2016 in collaboration with Indian society of Periodontology. Controversies in Periodontics were the theme of the program which had 7 guest lectures and 3 debates. There were 180 delegates of postgraduate students and Periodontists. The resource persons and their topics are Dr Faisuddhin on Classification, Dr Dwaraknath on Diagnosis, Dr Suresh on Genetics, Dr Jayakumar on systemic association, Dr Arun on Etiopathology, Dr Manickam on Ethics and Dr Chitguppi on Biofilm management. The topics of debate were Surgical or non-surgical therapy, Systemic association in the aetiology of Periodontitis, Immediate vs Delayed loading of Implants.
