PROSTHODONTIC DAY (22.01.2023)
On the occasion of Prosthodontic day celebrated on 22.01.2023, a camp was organized by Department of Prosthodontics in Navajeevan Free old age home, Perungalathur , Which was attended by 6 Post Graduates from Department of Prosthodontics.
The event started with a small talk by Post Graduate in English and Tamil, briefly describing the importance of oral hygiene, role of a general dentist, various branches in dentistry and the role of a prosthodontist along with accentuation on the significance of the day. The talk also threw light on the various treatment modalities available for various conditions and how they can come to an informed treatment choice that meets all their criteria.
Followed by which General Oral screening , Blood pressure , Random Blood Glucose Level, Body Mass Index were screened for elders in Old age home by Post Graduate Students
Once the screening was overed all the elders were given a small gift which consists of Towel, Tooth brush, Toothpaste, Soap by Post Graduate students .
