WORLD NO TOBACCO DAY CAMPAIGN:
The department actively carries out “world no tobacco campaign” on 31st May every year. The theme for 2019 was “Tobacco and lung health”. The students and staffs managed to carry out various activities within and outside the college premises like –Anti-tobacco awareness to the patients through audiovisuals and posters, Questionnaires using google forms to public on the knowledge of tobacco and its health hazards through social media, table top experiments and demonstrations on smoking and its effects, Human Chain Formation – Anti-tobacco rally in association with IDA and awareness Camp to company workers at Oral B campus, Rathinamangalam village, Chennai.
