CURRICULUM

Curriculum Committee of Tagore Dental College started functioning as a discrete body after bifurcating from it’s parent committee, the Dental Education Unit since September 2021.

The curriculum committee meets three times a year and performs the following roles:

• Collecting the course outcome data and analysing the data
• Preparing the program outcome from the course outcome
• Performing the gap analysis
• Intimating the course heads on the gaps in curriculum implementation
• Monitoring the corrective action plan on curriculum improvement.
• Collecting feedback from the stake holders of the college: students, parents, alumni, faculties and employer.
• Performing the analysis of feedback form stake holders and taking necessary corrective action on the curriculum based on the feedback from stakeholders if needed.

The basic structure of the curriculum committee is as follows:

• Swatch Bharath
• Drug abuse campaign
• Anti tobacco campaign
